Memberships

After many years as a ANMF specialist group the VSNA became an independent incorporated association in 2023.

We continue to work closely with ANMF VIC Branch and are grateful for their ongoing support.

VSNA Membership is an annual fee of $50 and includes:

– Termly online meetings

– Termly online Professional Development

– Discounted courses

– Networking opportunities

– Discounted VSNA conferences and events

– Resources

– Access to Members Facebook Page

Memberships are now open for the VSNA for 2024/25 financial year here.

Full membership are open to all nurses who are interested in or engaged in the practice of school nursing. Associate membership are open to first aiders and non-nurses.

Meetings

Meetings are held online on the 4th Tuesday of each school term.

Meetings start at 16:30 hrs and include an educational presentation by a guest speaker, followed by networking and a business meeting.

Registration to meetings is essential to obtain the ZOOM link. Links will be emailed to members and available on the members Facebook page.

Term 1 Meeting – 20th February

Term 2 Meeting – 7th May

Term 3 Meeting – 6th August

Term 4 Meeting – 29th October

Are you currently a VSNA Member?

This is a list of members who are willing to help out other members and their schools to cover leave.
Nurses are to negotiate their own pay/hours etc with the individual schools and provide evidence of appropriate accreditation’s.
